Yes. The roller is 304 stainless steel with no bristles to break off and end up in your food, which is exactly what makes it safer than a traditional wire brush. It is safe on cast iron, stainless and chrome-plated grids.

It charges over USB-C using the built-in 2000mAh battery, with a waterproof charging port. A full charge takes a couple of hours and covers several braais, so you can leave the cable indoors.

The brush head pops off and is dishwasher safe. Rinse or run it through a cycle after a heavy grid and it comes out ready for the next braai. Do not submerge the motor housing or handle.
